Description Roundtable discussions provide opportunities for area principals to discuss leadership challenges and share successful strategies that are working for them in their schools. Topics include survival skills for responding to local, state and federal mandates, creating, leading and sustaining postive school cultures, parent and community involvement and the ever-increasing challenge of fulfilling the dual role of instructional leader and school manager.
 
Objectives As a result of taking part in this workshop, participants will:
  		• Develop skills and strategies to respond to local, state and federal initiatives and mandates
  		•  Develop strategies to involve parents and other stakeholders in the school community
  		•  Learn from school leaders how to bablance the roles of instructional leader and school manager
